STATEN ISLAND –
Dakota Taylor's (Willow Grove, Pa./Archbishop Wood) goal with 1:31 remaining cancelled out College of Staten Island's late equalizer as the HFU men's soccer team defeated the Dolphins 2-1 on Wednesday afternoon.
Heading towards a draw after CSI had equalized less than eight minutes earlier, Taylor collected a rebounded save from a
Lautaro Berisso (La Plata, Argentina/(Camden County CC)) effort and slotted it into the left corner of the net.
The senior also played a part in the Tigers' opener as he set up
Sean Touey (Rockledge, Pa./Abington), who chipped the keeper in a one-on-one situation, for his first goal of the season 12 minutes into play.
