NEWARK, Del. – After falling to New Haven in a rematch from last year's NCAA Tournament in its first contest of the day, the HFU women's volleyball never trailed in a sweep of Saint Rose in its final match of the weekend.
Morgan Steck (Lakewood, Colo./Lakewood) was named to the All-Tournament Team after averaging 8.9 assists and 2.3 digs per set over the three matches.

Individual Highlights
- Steck led all players with a career-high 36 assists
- Allyssa Hartney (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) matched her season-best with 12 kills to lead all players
- Skylar Osenkarski (Harding, Pa./Holy Redeemer) fell one kill shy of a career-high with 11 kills on a match-best .526 hitting
- Isabella Mosquera (West Chicago, Ill./Saint Charles East) fell kill shy of making it three Tigers in double-figures, and she also tied a match-high with three blocks
- Faith Zehnder (Lakewood, Colo./Lakewood) was the only player in double-figures in digs with 15, with Mainerys Munoz (Stafford, Va./North Stafford) and Kyla Sayson (Sewell, N.J./Gloucester Institute of Technology) both falling one short with nine

- Holy Family set new season-highs in kills (44), hitting percentage (.314) and assists (41)
- The Tigers had more than double the amount of aces as Saint Rose, 8-3
How it Happened
First Set
- Holy Family started quick wit the first three points, capped by a Steck ace, and Saint Rose would never get closer than two
Second Set
- After four ties the Tigers pulled thanks to Hartney, who tallied the final four kills in a 6-0 flurry
Third Set
- Holy Family scored the first two points and led throughout, as a Shelby Kinzer (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington) kill and Mosquera service ace to make the score 6-3 established a multi-point advantage for good

- Steck recorded her second double-double of the season with a team-high 21 assists and a match-best 12 digs
- Zoe Krause (Stafford, Va./Brooke Point) led Holy Family with a season-high eight kills on .174 hitting
How it Happened
First Set
- New Haven scored the first two points and led throughout despite HFU getting as close as one on five occasions, including at 7-8 after a Osenkarski kill
- The Tigers were within 13-15 following back-to-back kills by Krause and Natasha Yanief (Pittsburgh, Pa./Thomas Jefferson), but the Chargers would answer with the next three points
Second Set
- Holy Family took its first lead of the morning with the first point, a Yanief kill
- The two teams would trade four early ties, the last of which came at 6-6 after a Hartney kill, before UNH rattled off seven in a row
Third Set
- The Chargers would score the first three points and despite the Tigers taking three of the next four, which included two Krause kills, the Chargers tallied six unanswered to cap an opening 10-3 run
