PHILADELPHIA – Four Tigers finished in the top-half of the field to help the HFU women's cross country team place fourth out of nine at the Philadelphia Metropolitan Cross Country Championship held at Belmont Plateau on Saturday afternoon.
Holy Family was notably third amongst the six Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) teams at the event.
- Emma McNamee (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) neared a top-10 finish in the field of 72, placing 13th with a time of 22:49.0 on the 5K course
- Teresa Faust (Pennsauken, N.J./Bishop Eustace Prep) (23:46.6) and Julia Lloyd (Middletown, Del./Appoquinimink) (23:55.1) crossed back-to-back in 21st and 22nd for a top-third of the field finish
- Desiree Draper (Philadelphia, Pa./John W. Hallahan Catholic) ran a near identical time as last week, 25:38.2, to place 36th
- Kaitlyn Durning (Glenolden, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) finished in 27:39.3
- Running for the second day in a row, Amber Fisgaer (Philadelphia, Pa./Bensalem) and Ashley Fisgaer (Philadelphia, Pa./Bensalem) posted times of 28:08.1 and 29:22.7
