WATERBURY, Conn. – Deadlocked with defending Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) regular season champion Post through 60 minutes, the Eagles scored twice in the final half hour to defeat HFU men's soccer in the two teams' league-opener on Saturday afternoon.

First Half

- Post rattled off the next six attempts in a span of five and a half minutes, with the penultimate one finding the back of the net just after the hour mark
- Holy Family's final shot came in the 65th minute on Taylor's second attempt on frame
- Shank made saves in the 73rd and 76th to keep the Tigers within striking distance
