2022 CACC Women's Track & Field All-Academic Team
The Holy Family women's track & field program was atop the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) with eight All-Academic recipients.
Korryn Braxton-Young (Wilmington, Del./Hodgson Vo-Tech) (Management Marketing major),
Teresa Faust (Pennsauken, N.J./Bishop Eustace Prep) (Nursing),
Kimoya Henry-Ellis (Mount Vernon, N.Y./Mount Vernon) (Education),
Shania Le Maitre (Champs Fleurs, Trinidad & Tobago/Holy Name Convent) (Biology/Pre-Physical Therapy) and
Samaria Ward (Upper Marlboro, Md./Largo) (Counseling Psychology) were all repeat honorees in their second year of eligibility.
Sophomores Amber and
Ashley Fisgaer (Philadelphia, Pa./Bensalem) (Criminal Justice) and
Taylor Cotter (Fairfax, Va./Paul VI Catholic) (Psychology) were all recognized in their first year of eligibility.
Amber and Ashley were notably two of the four recipients with a perfect 4.0 grade point average (GPA).
In order to be eligible for the CACC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must:
- Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 at the end of the immediate preceding term
- Be a second-year student-athlete and have a minimum of two semesters enrolled as a full-time student at their member institution
- Have been athletically eligible the season preceding the award and used a season of eligibility
