BENSALEM, Pa.– The Holy Family Softball team split a conference doubleheader to Post University Wednesday afternoon. The Tigers came from behind to win game one 7-3 but dropped the second 11-6.

How It Happened (Game 1)
* Post broke through first in the top of the second when Julianna Cicala singled to the pitcher for an RBI. The Tigers tied it up in the bottom of the inning off a Post error.
* The Eagles scored unanswered runs in the fourth and fifth to go up 3-1. Courtney Brobst and Kasey Jusino each recorded RBI hits.
* Holy Family plated six runs in the bottom of the sixth to go on top by four. The Tigers total eight hits in the inning including a three-RBI bomb from freshman

Inside the Box Score (Game 1)
* Senior
Ashley Remington (Collegeville, Pa./Pope John Paul II) recorded the win in the circle for Holy Family. She allowed two earned runs off of four hits while striking out a season high 11 batters.
* The Tigers outhit Post 13-4 with senior
Elaina Hansen (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) going a perfect 4-for-4 with an RBI, Freshmen
Emma Clayborne (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon),
Alexis Letizia (Toms River, N.J./Donovan Catholic) and
Lauren Hagy (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) each had a multi-hit game with two.
* Brianna Koref took the loss allowing seven earned runs off of 13 hits while striking out three.
How It Happened (Game 2)
* After three scoreless innings, Post put up four runs in the fourth off of two hits from Cicala and Caitlin DeAngelis. Ciasullo cut the lead to two in the bottom of the inning when she homered to left center.
* The Eagles came back for three more runs in the fifth when DeAngelis hit a shot the center field. Holy Family played two in the bottom of the inning when Hansen and Remington each singled for RBIs making it 7-4.
* Post capitalized on an error to score two more in the sixth. Senior
Jasmine Martinez (Riverside, Calif./Riverside Polytechnic) and junior
Maria Leedom (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy (Shippensburg)) both hit RBI singles in the bottom of the inning to keep the game in striking distance at 9-6.
* The Eagles scored two unanswered runs in the seventh to seal the five-run win.
Inside the Box Score (Game 2)
* Maddison Caldwell recorded the win pitching five innings allowing six runs off of 12 hits. Jenny Riquelme came in relief for the final two innings allowing only two hits.
* Holy Family had 14 hits in the game with Leedom leading the team with a season high three. Hansen, Ciasullo and freshman
Carlie Miller (Hermitage, Pa./Hickory) each totaled two hits.
* Ciasullo took the loss pitching four innings allowing seven earned runs off of eight hits. Junior
Makenna Patterson (Sellersville, Pa./Pennridge) allowing three earned runs off of five hits in three innings of relief.
* For Post, Cicala led the squad with four hits while DeAngelis went 2-for-4 with five RBI.

th meetings between Holy Family and Post since the start of the 1998 season. The Tigers are now 29-19 versus the Eagles in the all-time series.
