* Junior Maria Leedom (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy (Shippensburg)) went 1-for-2 in the game to account for one of the team's three hits with Blackston and Martinez.

* For Lock Haven, McClellan went 2-for-4 with two runs and three RBI.  Madison Waltman (6-1) picked up her team-leading sixth victory of the season after keeping the Tigers scoreless in five complete innings.  Waltman allowed one earned run on three hits while striking out four batters.

How It Happened (Game 2)

*  In game two, both teams combined for 17 runs and 32 hits in a back-and-forth affair.  Lock Haven plated two runs in the top half of the first to take an early 2-0 lead.  However, the lead would be short-lived as the Tigers also came through with a pair of runs in the opening inning.  Senior Abigail Smith (Elkton, Md./Red Lion Christian Academy) led the inning off with the first of her two home runs on the day.  The Tigers would tie the game later in the inning when junior Makenna Patterson (Sellersville, Pa./Pennridge) singled up the middle with the bases loaded to score freshman Emma Clayborne (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) who reach base with a walk earlier in the inning.

* In the third, Lock Haven broke the 2-2 tie with another two runs.  With two outs in the inning, Sydney Arrigale doubled to centerfield to score Mikayla Ruppert who reached on a two-out single.  Arrigale would go on to score on a single by Rianna Trexler.  Trexler was thrown out at second base to end the inning trying to stretch her single into a double.

* Holy Family responded in a big way in the bottom of the third.  Senior Elaina Hansen (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) led the inning off with a home run over the center field fence.  Two batters later, fellow senior Ashley Remington (Collegeville, Pa./Pope John Paul II) delivered a shot over the left-center field fence to tie the game at 4-4.

* Lock Haven recaptured the lead with three runs in the fifth inning.  Haley Lestician led the inning off with a solo home run to left-center field.  The Bald Eagles then received run scoring doubles in the inning by Arrigale and Trexler to take a 7-4 lead.

* Holy Family got one of the runs back in the bottom of the inning when pinch runner Lauren Hagy (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) scored on an errand throw by the Lock Haven third baseman.  Hagy's run made the score 7-5.

* In the bottom of the sixth the Tigers grabbed their first lead of the game.  Smith led the inning off with her second home run of the game to make the score 7-6.  Back-to-back singles by Leedom and Hansen followed before both runners advanced on a passed ball.  With two runners in scoring position, the Bald Eagles managed to force two straight groundouts.  Freshman Alexis Letizia (Toms River, N.J./Donovan Catholic) drew a walk to load the bases before freshman Sam Ciasullo (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) doubled to left-center field to drive in both Hansen and Leedom as the Tigers grabbed an 8-7 lead.

* Lock Haven tied the game in the seventh when Arrigale led the inning off with a home run to right-center field.  The Bald Eagles would grab the go-ahead run later in the inning when Summer Peters singled up the middle to drive in Amanda Criss with two outs in the inning.
