The Holy Family University women's basketball team has been voted third in the South Division of the 2022-23 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Preseason Coaches Poll.
Last season's CACC Tournament runner-up Jefferson topped the poll, beating out defending regular season champion Chestnut Hill, with the Rams receiving 11 of a possible 13 first-place votes.
The Griffins were voted one place ahead of the Tigers in second, receiving the other two top votes in the South Division.
Defending CACC North champion Post was atop the North Division Poll, garnering eight first-place votes, with three votes going to second place Dominican. The other two were split between third-place Caldwell and fourth-place Felician.
The top four teams in each division qualify for the CACC Tournament, with higher seeds hosting the quarterfinals on Feb. 28. The semifinals and championship match will then be held at Jefferson's Gallagher Center on March 4 and 5.
Holy Family returns 9 student-athletes from last year's squad that went 14-13 and 9-9 in league play in 2021-22.
