SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Holy Family University women's basketball team fell at Shippensburg, 63-81, on Saturday afternoon.
Individual Highlights
- Skyler Searfoss (Jim Thorpe, Pa./Jim Thorpe Area) was the lone Tiger in double-figures with 13 points with the freshman adding a game-high four steals and team-best three assists
- Fellow freshman Claire Dougherty (Lehman, Pa./Lake-Lehman) led all players with three blocks
- Lindsay Tretter (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Wood) and freshman Taylor Hinkle (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) adding nine points apiece, a season-high for the latter, with Tretter also matching Ava Morrow (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley) with team-highs of five rebounds and three dimes
- Freshman Emma Ingersoll-Weng (Iowa City, Iowa/Iowa City West) scored a season-high seven points in eight minutes off the bench

- Shippensburg scored the first 13 points, holding HFU scoreless for the opening 5:25
- The Tigers made a push with 11 of the next 14 points, getting close as 11-16 when Jessica Riepe (Marlboro, N.J./Marlboro) made a 3-pointer with 2:31 showing
- The Raiders responded with eight straight of their own to re-establish a 13-point advantage, 11-24, entering the second
Second Quarter
- Two Searfoss free throws made the score 15-25 2:04 in, but HFU could not make it a single-digit score-line as Shippensburg closed the period on a 10-3 surge for a 26-45 halftime score

- The Raiders made the first basket of the third quarter and led by 20+ until the 1:17 mark of the fourth quarter
