Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women’s Soccer Closes Out CACC Schedule with 1-0 Triumph at Regionally-Ranked Jefferson

PHILADELPHIA – Jacqueline Ziegler's (Feasterville, Pa./Neshaminy) fifth minute goal was all that was needed, as the HFU women's soccer team closed out its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule with a 1-0 triumph at regionally-ranked Jefferson on Tuesday afternoon.

The early score came via Allison Loper's (Bensalem, Pa./Nazareth Academy (Georgian Court)) free kick from the left. The goalie was not able to handle it, and Ziegler was the first to it in the center of the box.

Brianna Pudlo (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert) made four first half saves and the defense took over from there, limiting the Rams to just one shot on net in the final 49 minutes.

Inside the Box Score
  • Pudlo's shutout was her seventh of the year, now tied for ninth in the program's single-season history
    • Her 12 career shutouts are tied for fifth in program history, while her 26 career wins are tied for third all-time
