PHILADELPHIA – The Holy Family University women's soccer team's Division II-era 10-match unbeaten run came to an end with a 2-0 loss to regionally-ranked Bridgeport on Saturday afternoon at Tiger Field.
The Purple Knights scored with the first attempt of the match 6:37 in, before adding a second in the 57th minute.
HFU had its opportunities as
Maura Kilkenny (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Little Flower) hit the crossbar 1:07 ahead of halftime before the Tigers had a penalty saved one and a half minutes after Bridgeport's second goal.

- Allison Loper (Bensalem, Pa./Nazareth Academy (Georgian Court)) also missed wide in-between in the 23rd
- Pudlo made her second save in the 29th minute
- HFU had a late flurry in the final 1:45, with Maddie Maguire (Sewell, N.J./Nazareth Academy (Rider)) firing wide ahead of two Tigers corners, the first of which led to Kilkenny hitting the bar with a header

- Bridgeport began the second half with two shots off target in the opening 1:11
- The penalty was Holy Family's lone attempt of the second half
- Pudlo made four stops over the final 20 minutes to keep the score at 2-0
