How it Happened
First Set (25-17)
  • The Tigers held their largest lead of three on three occasions, including at 10-7 after a kill by Shelby Kinzer (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington), but Jefferson would come back with the next four points
  • HFU momentarily tied the score at 11, but the Rams scored four more in a row to complete an 8-1 run and they would lead the rest of the way
  • Holy Family got as close as three twice, including when a Hartney kill made the score 16-19
Second Set (25-15)
  • Jefferson would score the first five points and lead throughout
Third Set (25-14)
  • Kills by Skylar Osenkarski (Harding, Pa./Holy Redeemer) and Hartney helped the Tigers jump out to a 2-1 advantage, but again it was the Rams scoring four unanswered to take the lead for good
  • Hartney and Isabella Mosquera (West Chicago, Ill./Saint Charles East) kills highlighted a 3-1 stretch that got the HFU within 5-6, but this time was five in a row by Jefferson establishing control
