PHILADELPHIA – The Holy Family University women's soccer team drew 0-0 with Wilmington on Tuesday night at Tiger Field to extend its unbeaten run to nine for the first time since 2007.
HFU registered 10 of the final 13 shots of the match but could not break through, with
Alyssa Hooten (Pocono Summit, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) missing just high in the 70th minute and
Ava Hooten (Pocono Summit, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) missing just wide with the Tigers' final attempt six and half minutes prior to the final whistle.
Brianna Pudlo (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert) made a season-high nine saves, none overly threatening, for her fourth straight shutout and sixth this season.

Lexi Murphy (Woolwich Township, N.J./Kingsway Regional (Saint Francis U)),
Brynn Hess (Benton, Pa./Benton),
Grace Joyce (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) and
Gianna Penecale (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Lower Moreland) all played defensively in front of Pudlo.

- Both teams registered an attempt on net in the opening 2:06, with Pudlo making her first save just 53 seconds in before Ziegler was denied
- Alyssa Hooten (Pocono Summit, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) also worked the keeper early on in the ninth minute
- That was part of three straight shots for HFU, with Gianna Monaco (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) and Hannah Florentino (Philadelphia, Pa./Nazareth Academy) recording the next two
- Pudlo made her second stop in the 27th minute
- Maddie Maguire (Sewell, N.J./Nazareth Academy (Rider)) had an attempt blocked four and a half minutes ahead of the half
Second Half
- Prior to HFU's dominant close, it was Wilmington who came out with 11 of the first 14 shots of the second half
- Pudlo made two saves less than a minute apart in the opening 2:12, before the Wildcats hit the crossbar in the 49th
- Ziegler followed that with an attempt on net just 36 seconds later
- Pudlo also made stops in the 51st, 59th and 66th minutes during the stretch
- The final two of sandwiched a Maguire shot on goal in the 62nd, which turned out to be the Tigers' final attempt on net
- Izzy Mignon (Pipersville, Pa./Central Bucks East) missed wide in the 67th minute, before Pudlo followed that up with another save in the 70th
- Holy Family had five attempts in a span of 3:09 between the 75th and 78th minutes, but none were on frame
- Pudlo made the final save of the night in the 81st minute
