PHILADELHPIA – The HFU volleyball team's win streak has reached double-digits after the Tigers swept Post (25-20, 25-15, 25-20) on Saturday afternoon.
Holy Family has now had a double-digit win streak in each of the previous four full seasons.
Individual Highlights
- Morgan Steck (Lakewood, Colo./Lakewood) led all players with 34 assists and three aces
- Isabella Mosquera (West Chicago, Ill./Saint Charles East) was the only player in double-figures with 13 kills on .462 hitting, and she tied Zoe Krause (Stafford, Va./Brooke Point) with a match-high with two blocks
- Faith Zehnder (Lakewood, Colo./Lakewood) posted a match-high 19 digs while Ashley Petrasovic (Queens, N.Y./Monsignor McClancy Memorial) and Kyla Sayson (Sewell, N.J./Gloucester Institute of Technology) both finished one shy of double-digs, a new career-best for the former
- Shelby Kinzer's (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington) nine kills on .273 hitting were the afternoon's second-highest total

- Holy Family had a 10-2 edge in service aces

How it Happened
First Set
- Holy Family took control with five consecutive points, featuring two Steck aces, to make the score 13-9
- Post pulled within two on two occasions, including at 16-18, but Natasha Yanief (Pittsburgh, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) had two kills in a 5-1 run
Second Set
- Skylar Osenkarski (Harding, Pa./Holy Redeemer) had two kills as HFU scored the first three, and five of the first six, points en route to leading throughout
- The Eagles got as close as 5-6, but four different Tigers scored in a run of four unanswered capped by a Mainerys Munoz (Stafford, Va./North Stafford) ace
- Holy Family then responded to three straight Post points with five consecutive that featured two kills by Kinzer to make the score 15-8
Third Set
- The Tigers used a run of seven straight points to take control, going ahead 10-4 after Mosquera and Krause both tallied 2.5 points in the stretch
