Women’s Soccer Scores Three in Second Half to Extend Unbeaten Streak to Five

PHILADELPHIA – The Holy Family University women's soccer team scored three times in the second half, extending its unbeaten streak to five with a 3-0 victory over Alliance on Saturday afternoon at Tiger Field.

The first two Tigers goals came as the result of corners, with Jacqueline Ziegler (Feasterville, Pa./Neshaminy) first scoring directly from the left corner in the 53rd minute, before Ava Hooten's (Pocono Summit, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) first goal, assisted by Ziegler, came as a result from Allison Loper's (Bensalem, Pa./Nazareth Academy (Georgian Court)) corner from the right in the 84th.

Hooten then completed her first career brace 1:19 ahead of the final whistle, courtesy of Loper and Jenna Slavin (Philadelphia, Pa./Franklin Towne Charter)

Brianna Pudlo (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert) would make four saves, two in each half, for her third shutout of the season, with Maura Kilkenny (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Little Flower), Grace Joyce (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan), Lexi Murphy (Woolwich Township, N.J./Kingsway Regional (Saint Francis U)), Brynn Hess (Benton, Pa./Benton) and Izzy Mignon (Pipersville, Pa./Central Bucks East) protecting her in defense for HFU's fourth shutout of the year.
