The lead wouldn't last long as another Washington three-pointer gave the Cougars a 44-42 lead with 7:25 on the clock.

* The Tigers kept pace with the Cougars despite the home team's lead increasing to seven points at 50-43.  Junior Jake McGonigle (Ocean City, N.J./Wildwood Catholic) drained a three-pointer with 2:42 left in regulation to bring the Tigers within one possession of tying the game with a 50-47 score.  Over the next two minutes, Caldwell pulled away and used an 8-1 run to lead by double-digits at 58-48 with only :45 seconds showing on the clock.
