How It Happened

* Holy Family trailed 18-15 early on in the second quarter and from there turned the game into a one-sided affair.  The Tigers would go on a 15-0 run over an eight-plus minute span before the Bears halted the rally with a score with just over a minute to play until halftime.  Junior Moe Moore (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) would cap the scoring of the opening half on the Tigers ensuing possession to increase the lead to 32-20.  During the team's run, the Holy Family defense held Bloomfield to just 1-of-10 shooting from the field and forced six turnovers.  The Bears were held scoreless from the 9:23 mark of the quarter to its final basket of the half at 1:05.

* In the third quarter the Bears cut the deficit down to seven points at 34-27 after Kamrin Babbs converted a pair of free throws at the 7:26 mark.  However, back-to-back three-pointers later in the quarter by Dakota Schultice (Sicklerville, N.J./Timber Creek Regional) and Ava Morrow (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley) increased the Tigers' lead back to double-digits at 40-27 after Morrow drained her three with 3:29 on the clock.

* Holy Family expanded its lead to 16 points by the end of the third quarter when Lindsay Tretter (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Wood) knocked down a three-pointer to account for the final score of the frame.  The Tigers led 45-29 entering the final 10 minutes.

* Holy Family led by as many as 19 points in the fourth quarter when Jada Saeger (Walnutport, Pa./Northern Lehigh) drained a three-pointer to make the score 50-31 at the 6:55 mark.
