How It Happened

* In a game that saw both teams combine for 10 shots, the first goal scored would turn out to be the most important shot of the afternoon.  Luckily for the Tigers they were the ones to find the back of the net.  After a scoreless first half, it took Holy Family just over three minutes in to the second half to score the game's first and only goal.  Senior Jacqueline Ziegler (Feasterville, Pa./Neshaminy) fed a corner kick attempt into the box and freshman Brynn Hess (Benton, Pa./Benton) finished the play with her first collegiate goal.

* Senior goalkeeper Alayna McSeed (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) made three saves in net for the Tigers and in the process lowered her goals against average for the season down to 0.52.  The shutout victory marked her third of the season and seventh of her career.

Inside the Box Score

* In three conference games played thus far this season, the Tigers are 3-0-0 with all three victories coming by identical 1-0 scores.

* Zeigler's assist in the 49th minute marked her conference leading sixth assist of the season. She has at least one assist in each of the last five games.

All-Time Series
Today marked the 26th meeting between Holy Family and Felician since the start of the 1999 season.  The Tigers are now 18-5-3 versus the Golden Falcons in the all-time series. Holy Family has won the last four meetings of the series.
