How It Happened

* Holy Family struck first and took an early lead on Queens.  In the 13th minute, junior Hannah Florentino (Philadelphia, Pa./Nazareth Academy) scored her first goal of the season with a shot from the left-side after a throw-in pass from sophomore Maura Kilkenny (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Little Flower)

* Leading 1-0, the Tigers added another score in the 28th minute.  Sophomore Carly Nothnagel (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) connected on her first goal of the year when she fired in a shot inside the box.  Nothnagel received a cross-pass from senior Jacqueline Ziegler (Feasterville, Pa./Neshaminy) with fellow senior Yasmine Machlof (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Lower Moreland) setting up the initial pass.

* The score remained 2-0 through the rest of the half.  The Tigers though would quickly strike to start the second half with a goal in the 52nd minute.  Ziegler scored a goal of her own with a chip shot over the Queen's goalkeeper for her first score of the season.  Machlof along with junior Megan Kennedy (Philadelphia, Pa./Nazareth Academy) were credited with assists on the play.

* Queens finally got on the board in the 74th minute to break up the Tigers' shutout bid.  Samantha Pinto launched a shot from about 40-yards out towards the net after receiving a pass from Sarah Anderson on a free kick.
