Homecoming Weekend Set for Oct. 8-9

Philadelphia, Pa. – Homecoming Weekend is back and better than ever! Holy Family University will be hosting its annual event the weekend of Oct. 8-9 with a fun-filled schedule.

The weekend will kick-off with the 2021 Holy Family Athletics Hall of Fame Ceremony on Friday, Oct. 8 at The Buck Hotel in Feasterville. The Hall of Fame reception will begin at 6 p.m. with cocktail hour with the formal part of the evening starting at 7 p.m. sharp. Tickets are currently on-sale and can be purchased by clicking, here.

On Saturday, Oct. 9, Holy Family athletics are in full swing with men's and women's cross country competing at the Jack St. Clair Invite, held at Belmont Plateau within Fairmount Park. The first race begins at 9 a.m.

Later in the morning the women's volleyball team hosts conference rival Dominican College starting at 11 a.m. inside the Campus Center Gymnasium. Outside on the 'New' Tiger Field, men's and women's soccer faces Caldwell University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader. The women's game is set for 12 p.m. and is followed by the men's game at 2:30 p.m. In-between the two games, Tiger Field will be officially dedicated.

Finally, the Athletics Department will be hosting an Alumni Reception for all FORMER student-athletes at Chickie's and Pete's (11000 Roosevelt Boulevard). The reception, which includes a buffet, t-shirt and cash bar, will begin at 6 p.m. and admission is free for all former student-athlete alumni. Please register by visiting the homecoming link below.
