How It Happened

* Seth Crabbe gave the home team an early 1-0 lead with a score in the 10th minute of action.  That would be the only score in the first half as both teams totaled six shots each in the half.

* The score remained 1-0 in favor of the Raiders until the 77th minute when Holy Family tied the game at 1-1 thanks to Montag's quick reaction.  After his initial shot was blocked, Montag acted on the rebounded ball and rifled it into the back of the net for the score.

* Shippensburg quickly responded minutes later when Cory Ferguson scored the go-ahead goal in the 79th minute after receiving a pass from Crabbe.

* With time quickly ticking away the Tigers caught a break with 1:08 to play in regulation.  A foul by Shippensburg inside the box gave Holy Family a penalty kick opportunity.  Richmond took the shot for the Tigers and as a result tied the game at 2-2.

* Neither team managed to score in overtime with Shippensburg having a slight edge on shots, 4-3.  The Raiders had the only shot on-target in the two overtime periods as senior goalkeeper Mark Tobin (Philadelphia, Pa./Roman Catholic (La Salle Univ.)) made the save in the 107th minute.

Inside the Box Score

* Holy Family outshot Shippensburg, 19-15, throughout the game.  The Tigers fired off 10 shots in the second half.

* Montag and Davis Habilaj (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) combined for 12 of the Tigers' 19 shots.  Montag finished with a game-high seven shots, while Habilaj totaled five.

* Tobin recorded six saves in net for the Tigers.
