How It Happened (vs. East Stroudsburg)

* After dropping the first set the Tigers bounced back and won the second set to tie the match at 1-1.  Holy Family used an 8-1 run late to pull ahead of the Warriors who held a 16-14 advantage at the start of the Tigers' rally.  Senior Camille Johnson (Columbia, Md./Wilde Lake) recorded four kills to account for half the points in the run to give the Tigers 22-17 advantage.  Holy Family would go on to take the set, 25-22.

* Another late rally helped the Tigers in the third set.  Trailing 20-15, Holy Family ripped off five straight points to tie the set.  From there, the Tigers outlasted the Warriors in a back-and-forth down the stretch.  Holy Family scored the final three points of the set to win, 29-27.

* The momentum carried over into the fourth set for the Tigers.  Holy Family opened with a 9-3 run and never trailed in the set.  The Tigers big push came when leading 14-11.  After a Warriors kill, the Tigers scored seven unanswered points to lead 21-11.  The Warriors made things interesting scoring seven of eight points during a stretch late but the Tigers ultimately held on for the victory with senior Zoe Krause (Stafford, Va./Brooke Point) sealing the victory with a kill.

* In the third set the Tigers jumped out to a 7-3 lead before Molloy took control of the set midway through.  The Lions led 20-15 at one point but after a Holy Family timeout, the Tigers went on a 9-0 run to take advantage of the set.
