How It Happened

* After a scoreless first half, Bloomsburg was the first to break through with a score.  In the 50th minute, Sammy Ames connected on a header shot to give the Huskies the game's first lead.

* The Huskies' lead would be short-lived as Holy Family came back less than seven minutes later with the equalizer.  Junior Sean Touey (Rockledge, Pa./Abington) converted a header shot of his own right in front of the next after a great cross pass into the box by senior Will Stackhouse (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan)

* The score would remain tied the rest of regulation to force an overtime period.  In overtime, the Huskies scored the game-winner in the 98th minute off another header shot this time by Salvatore Ficarotta.

Inside the Box Score

* Shots were limited in this match up as both teams combined for four shots in the first half with the Huskies holding a 3-1 edge.  Bloomsburg outshot the Tigers, 8-2, in the second half.

* Senior goalkeeper Mark Tobin (Philadelphia, Pa./Roman Catholic (La Salle Univ.)) made four of his five saves in the second half for the Tigers.

* All three shots by the Tigers were on-target with Touey leading the team with two.  Senior Sean McCormick (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) had the other shot in the game.
