Location: Waterbury, Conn. (LaMoy Field)

How it Happened

* Holy Family found itself in a tough 9-3 deficit late in the first half.  Junior Mackenzie Santucci (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional (RCBC)) jump started what turned out to be a 5-0 run by the Tigers with a free-position goal just below the 10 minute mark of the half.  After a Post turnover, sophomore Lynn Hardy (Audubon, N.J./Camden Catholic) came through with a goal before Santucci tallied another score after a yellow card by the Eagles to make the score 9-6.  After another Post turnover the Tigers scored again at the 5:46 mark with junior Tatceyana Pulley (Edgewater Park, N.J./Burlington City) knocking her second score of the half.  The Tigers capped their run with about three minutes to play in the half when freshman Fiona Steinmetz (Delran, N.J./Delran) scored a free position goal to bring the Tigers to within one goal of tying the score at 9-8.

* With the first half coming to a close, the Eagles got one more goal into the Holy Family net when Morgan Cassiliano scored as time expired to give the Eagles a 10-8 lead heading into halftime. The momentum carried into the second half when Cassiliano scored the first of back-to-back goals by the Eagles to start the second half.

* Pulley scored a free position goal for the Tigers to halt the mini run by the Eagles and to bring the Tigers back to within three goals of the lead at 12-9.  However, the Eagles would go on to score the game's next four goals to take a 16-9 lead by the 9:48 mark.  Holy Family went nearly 15 minutes without a score until Santucci ended the dry spell with another free position score.  Santucci's goal would be the final score of the game by either team.

* Pulley and Santucci each led the Tigers with three goals on the afternoon.  Pulley also had an assist to finish with a team-high four points.  The duo combined for 14 shots with all but one being on-target.

* Sophomore Lynn Hardy (Audubon, N.J./Camden Catholic) tallied two goals and controlled four draws.  Steinmetz and freshman Tori Wolstenholme (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert's) each scored their first collegiate goals in the game.  Wolstenholme led the team with two caused turnovers.
