How It Happened

* Holy Family scored the game's first five goals of the game and never looked back.  Junior Mackenzie Mackenzie Santucci (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional (RCBC)) scored three goals, while freshman Tori Wolstenholme (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert's) tallied the other two in the team's opening run.  After a Chestnut Hill score at the 20:52 mark by Gab Fanfarillo, the Tigers tacked on four more goals the final 20 minutes of the half to take a 9-1 lead entering half time.

* Sophomore Madeline Curran (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) kept the Tigers momentum going entering the second half as an early penalty by Chestnut Hill led to advantage opportunity for the Tigers.  Curran scored minutes into the half to expand the Tigers' lead to 10-1.  After another Griffins' goal by Fanfarillo, the Tigers scored back-to-back goals by freshman Fiona Steinmetz (Delran, N.J./Delran) and sophomore Lynn Hardy (Audubon, N.J./Camden Catholic) to give Holy Family its double-digit lead of the game at 12-2.

* Chestnut Hill cut the deficit down to single digits with a score by Madyson Schwartz with 21:06 to play, but the Tigers followed with three straight goals to grab their biggest lead of the game.  The Tigers led 15-3 by the 11:59 mark of the second half.

* The Holy Family offense pressured the Chestnut Hill defense all game after recording a season-high 46 shots.  The Tigers attempted 24 shots in the first half and another 22 shot in the second.  Chestnut Hill managed just 15 shots in the game.
