How It Happened (Game 1)

* Holy Family plated four runs in the top half of the third inning to take a 4-1 advantage.  With the bases loaded, junior Elaina Hansen (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) delivered a two-run single to right-center field to make the score 2-1.  Three batters later, freshman Emily Siwek (Feasterville, Pa./Neshaminy) came through with a two-run double to right field to add to more runs to the scoreboard as the Tigers finished the inning leading, 4-1.

* Dominican scored single runs in the bottom of the third and fourth innings to cut the deficit down to 4-3.  The Chargers would go on to score a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh for the walk off victory.  With two outs in the inning, Jenna O'Reilly tripled to left-center scoring Andrea Hester.  Elizabeth Tolkan then followed with the walk off base hit to score O'Reilly for the winning run.

Inside the Box Score (Game 1)

*Patterson led the Tigers with a pair of hits in the game as she finished 2-for-4.  Hansen went 1-for-3 with a run and two RBI, while Siwek went 1-for-4 with a two run double.

* Dominican's Samantha Carbonara (1-1) earned the win after 3.1 innings of relief.  She held the Tigers to just one hit, but issued a pair of walks.  Carbonara also struck out two batters

* Rebecca Haggerty hit a solo home run in the second inning for the Chargers.

How It Happened (Game 2)

* Dominican scored early in the night cap and built a 4-0 lead after the first two innings.  Kristin Miscia highlighted the bottom of the first inning with a two-run homer.  In the second, Miscia drove in another run with a base hit and later scored on a Holy Family error.

* The Holy Family offense finally broke through in the sixth inning when the Tigers cut the Dominican lead in half.  Junior Abigail Smith (Elkton, Md./Red Lion Christian Academy) and senior Taylor Nichols (Salisbury, Md./Parkside) recorded back-to-back one out singles before junior Ashley Remington (Collegeville, Pa./Pope John Paul II) drove both of them home with a two-run double.  With two outs in the inning, Patterson and Siwek drew back-to-back walks to load the bases, but Dominican was able to get out of the inning without allowing another run.

* In the bottom of the sixth the Chargers got both runs back with Miscia once again being in the middle of the offense.  She drove in another run and later scored on a wild pitch to give the Chargers a 6-2 lead.

Inside the Box Score (Game 2)
