How It Happened

* Holy Family scored the game's first goal early on in the 14th minute when freshman Gianna Monaco (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) connected on her first collegiate goal.  Monaco found the back of the net after Nyack goalkeeper Michelle Baum ran out to challenge the play.  Monaco was able to maneuver her way around Baum to let off a shot towards the left side for the score.

* The Holy Family lead was short-lived as Nyack responded 2:38 minutes later when Shanice Rapp scored from about 20-yards out off a rebounded ball.  Rapp's goal tied the game in the 16th minute.

* The Tigers regained the lead in the 21st minute with a score from junior Jacqueline Ziegler (Feasterville, Pa./Neshaminy) who found the back of the net from 20-yards away.  Freshman Mel Prinos (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) set the play up with a touch pass to Ziegler on the far left side right after a Holy Family corner kick attempt.

* In the 32nd minute Nyack tied the game once more after Zion Dewerff scored off a cross pass from the right side from Rapp.  The goal turned out to be the final score of the game by either team.

* After both teams combined to score four goals in the first 31:18 minutes of the game, neither team was able to find the back of the net for the final 77:42 of action, including overtime.
