West Babylon, N.Y. – Holy Family University freshman Udoka Odoemene (Sicklerville, N.J./Overbrook (Rowan Univ.)) was among those selected to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Indoor Track & Field Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending Dec. 12 as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Last week, Odoemene and the Tigers competed at the Seahawk Shootout hosted by Wagner College at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island.

It was another record-breaking performance for Odoemene in just his second collegiate meet. In the weight throw, Odoemene finished sixth overall with a distance of 45'5.25" (13.85m) breaking his own school record set at the Fastrack Season Opener in his collegiate debut. His distance in that meet was 41'5.25" (12.63m).

Odoemene also competed in the shot put event and finished ninth overall at the Seahawk Shootout with a distance of 44' 1.5" (13.45m).

Holy Family will be idle for the next four weeks and will return to action after the New Year. The Tigers' next meet will be on Friday, Jan. 14 as the team competes in the Spartan Invitational hosted by Saint Thomas Aquinas College at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
