How It Happened

* If you blinked after the opening whistle, you might have missed the Tigers' first goal.  Holy Family wasted zero time in finding the back of the net as senior Joel Richmond (Bridgetown, Barbados/Church Farm) scored the game's first goal within the first :42 seconds.  Richmond had a breakaway down the left side after receiving a pass from senior Mohamed Elgayar (Philadelphia, Pa. (Egypt)/Northeast) and was able to fire a shot that connected for his fifth goal of the season.

* Holy Family doubled its lead later in the half after freshman Gavin Rowan (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) connected on his second goal of the season. Rowan scored off a header when senior Will Stackhouse (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) launched a pass into the box from the right side.  Rowan's goal in the 27th minute gave the Tigers a 2-0 lead.

* The Tigers put the game way out of reach in the 70th minute after junior Sean Touey (Rockledge, Pa./Abington) scored his seventh goal of the season.  Touey knocked in a header off a rebounded ball from Richmond's shot which was saved by GCU goalkeeper Gianluca Cersosimo.
