* Southern Connecticut responded by outscoring Holy Family, 22-5, the final 8:30 of the second quarter.  The Owls led by double-digits after Delaney Connors knocked down a three-pointer to make the score 32-22 in the final minute of the half.  Junior Jada Saeger (Walnutport, Pa./Northern Lehigh) came through with a score for the Tigers as time expired to cut the deficit down to single digits at halftime.

* Holy Family came within six points of the lead twice in the third quarter with the latter coming at the 4:46 mark after freshman Jessice Riepe drained a three-pointer to make the score 38-32.  The Owls quickly regained their double-digit advantage with a mini 6-0 run on the next two possessions.
