Game Recap

* Trailing 58-49 at the 6:34 mark of the second half, Holy Family nearly pulled off the come-from-behind victory.  The Tigers eventually tied the game and took the lead with 2:31 to play thanks to freshman Manny Toha (Newark, N.J./Marist) converting a pair of free throws to make the score 64-63 in favor of the Tigers.  Prior to Toha's free throws, the Tigers used a 13-5 run over a four-minute span to come within one point of the Yellow Jackets' lead.

* AIC regained the lead on its following possession after a Jordan Vidal bucket to make the score 65-64.  The next four Tigers' possessions resulted in a pair of missed three-pointers and two turnovers.  However, the missed opportunities didn't cost the Tigers as the Yellow Jackets were unable to capitalize on the other side.  They did however split a pair of free throws with 17-seconds remaining to make the score 66-64.  After a Holy Family timeout the team was able to get a three-pointer off to win the game but Eric Esposito's (Langhorne, Pa./Conwell Egan) shot was unable to fall as Franklyn Batista corralled the rebounded ball for the Yellow Jackets as time expired.

* Holy Family opened the game on an 11-3 run but AIC chipped away at the Tigers' early lead and would go on to outscore the Tigers, 27-17, the rest of the half to lead 30-28 at halftime.
