Game Recap

* A fourth quarter run to open the final 10 minutes turned out to be the difference in a very close knit game between the Tigers and Eagles.  Holy Family led 38-36 before making a mini 6-0 run to start the fourth to grab the game's biggest lead to that point.  A three-point play by freshman Moe Moore (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) capped with a free throw gave the Tigers a 44-36 lead at the 8:45 mark.

* Midway through the quarter the Tigers extended the lead to double-digits when graduate student Mia Ehling (Linden, N.J./Holmdel (St. Francis)) hit a jumper to make the score 51-41.

* The Eagles cut the deficit down to single digits down the stretch but each time the Tigers responded.  A Mia Crooms layup brought the Eagles to within eight points at 56-48 with 1:25 to play.  A pair of free throws by Ehling on the next Tigers' possession bumped the lead back up to 10 points.

* Post managed to come within eight points (58-50) again off a basket by Crooms but time was against the Eagles.  Freshman Moe Moore (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) was fouled with :24 seconds left on the next possession and split a pair of free throws to give the Tigers a 59-50 lead capping the scoring for the game.
