Game Recap

* Dominican's Daraja Rodwell scored eight straight points to break a 6-6 tie early on and Jason Copman capped the 10-0 run with a layup to give the Chargers a 16-6 lead by the 12:59 mark of the opening half.

* Holy Family cut the lead to single digits midway through the half after a three-pointer by freshman Nate Conyer (Pemberton, N.J./BCIT Medford) made the score 20-11.  From there, the Chargers outscored the Tigers, 20-6, over the next 10 minutes and closed out the half with a 40-17 advantage.

* Holy Family struggled to find its shot all afternoon as the Tigers shot a season-low 23.7-percent from the field.  It is also the first time this season the Tigers didn't make at least 20 field goals in a game as they were limited to just 14 by the Chargers' defense.

* Dominican controlled the game the rest of the way.  The Chargers opened the second half with a 21-6 run to grab their biggest lead of the game at 61-23 with 12:57 to play in the second half.

News and Notes

* Junior Brendan Hoban (Watertown, Mass./Millbrook) and freshman Tayquan Busby (Baltimore, Md./Saint Frances Academy) each scored a team-high 10 points.  It marked a season-high for Busby who also grabbed a season-high eight rebound.

* Rodwell and Jalen Burgess each scored a game-high 18 points for the Chargers.  Burgess also led the game with 10 rebounds to record a double-double.  He also shot a near perfect 8-of-9 from the field for the game.
