Game Recap

* With two seconds left in regulation, Schweitzer grabbed a key offensive rebound and in the process was fouled resulting in two free throws.  Schweitzer went on to make both attempts that completed a comeback that featured an 11-point deficit in the quarter.  After Holy Family made the score 64-63, Post called a timeout to advance the ball.  The Eagles managed a shot to potentially win the game but Hannah Benac's shot was way off as time expired.

* Holy Family led by as many as nine point to start the third quarter when senior Elizabeth Radley (Hainesport, N.J./Bishop Eustace Prep) drained a three to open the second half.  With the Tigers leading 33-24, the Eagles responded with an 11-0 run to take the lead after Kiera Fernandes knocked down a three-pointer to make the score 35-33 at the 8:00 mark. Post went on to outscore the Tigers, 30-15, in the third quarter to lead 54-45 entering the fourth.

* In the fourth the Eagles scored the first basket at the 8:10 mark to extend their lead to 11 points (56-45); their largest advantage of the game.  Holy Family began chipping away at the deficit and over the next 3:40 tied the game at 58-58.  Graduate Mia Ehling (Linden, N.J./Holmdel (St. Francis)) knocked down a three-pointer with less than four minutes to play in regulation.

* Post responded with a three by Sha'Raya Haines and on the ensuing Tigers' possession, Haines stole the ball that led to a fastbreak score.  The Tigers then answered with back-to-back baskets by Radley and freshman Moe Moore (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) to make the score 63-62.  With still three fouls to give, the Tigers were forced to foul three consecutive times starting at the :25 second mark.  The Eagles missed both free throws and Schweitzer grabbed the defensive board with :14 seconds to play. A shot by Ehling was blocked by Fernandes, but the offensive board was corralled by Schweitzer leading to her game-winning free throws.
