Match Recap

* For the second time in as many matches the outcome came down to a fifth and decisive set.  However, the Tigers first needed to take care of business in the fourth set.  Holy Family found itself in a back-and-forth battle with the Griffins early on in the set with the Tigers holding a 6-5 lead.  That all changed when the Tigers went on a massive 12-0 run to take full control of the set.  Holy Family recorded six kills in the run and took advantage of six miscues by the Griffins. Leading 18-5, the Tigers went on to coast to a 25-12 victory in the fourth set to tie the match.

* In the fifth set, momentum didn't carry over as Chestnut Hill grabbed five straight points to start the set.  The Griffins never trailed and the Tigers only came within four points of the lead on three occasions.  The Griffins clinched the match with a 15-8 victory in the set number five. Chestnut Hill recorded 10 kills and had zero errors on 12 attempts in the set for an .833 attack percentage.
