How It Happened

* Holy Family trailed the entire game except for the final 6:39 as the Tigers rallied to knock off the Griffins.  Trailing 11-10 with 11:32 to play in the second half, senior Devon Felix (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Lower Moreland) tied the game with one of her six goals on the day.  On the following Tigers' possession, Pulley converted the free position shot to give Holy Family its first lead of the day.  After winning the ensuing draw, Felix ran into the offensive zone and found the back of the net to double the Tigers lead.

* Chestnut Hill made the score 13-12 after a free position score by Spencer Fitzgerald, however the Tigers responded with back-to-back goals by Felix and junior Casey Brown (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) to give Holy Family its biggest lead of the game at 15-12.

* The Griffins managed a goal with 1:45 to play when Dai Pearson scored on a free position attempt to make the score 15-13, but that marked the final goal by either team.

* Chestnut Hill scored four of the first five goals of the game to lead 5-1 early on in the match up.  The Griffins held a 7-3 advantage midway through the half before scored three straight goals to come within on score of the lead.  Chestnut Hill scored a buffer goal with :25 seconds left in the half, but Felix came through with a goal with 10 seconds on the clock to make the score 8-7.
