Game Recap

* One goal was all Holy Family would need to hold off the Griffins.  The Tigers scored in the 58th minute to break a deadlock score.  Sophomore Georg Montag (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) connected on his sixth goal of the season after receiving a cross pass from the far left into the box from sophomore Joel Richmond (Bridgetown, Barbados/Church Farm).   It marked Richmond's fourth assist of the season tying his career-high.

News and Notes

* Senior goalkeeper Mark Tobin (Philadelphia, Pa./Roman Catholic (La Salle Univ.)) recorded his fifth shutout of the season as he made one save on the Griffins lone shot attempt. Tobin ranks second in the CACC in shutouts this season.

* The Holy Family defense limited Chestnut Hill to just one shot the entire game setting a new season-low for the Tigers.  Holy Family tallied 11 shots on the afternoon with eight coming in the second half.

* The Tigers held the advantage on corner kick opportunities by the 9-4 margin tying the season-high for most corner kicks in a game.

* The 10 wins thus far this season mark the first double-digit victories by the Tigers since winning 11 games in 2011.  The eight CACC victories this year are the most in program history.  The Tigers previously won seven conference games in 2011 and 2007.

All-Time Series
Today marked the 13th meeting between Holy Family and Chestnut Hill since the start of the 2007 season.  The Tigers are now 10-3-0 versus the Griffins in the all-time series.
