* Holy Family led 13-12 at the 3:35 mark of the first quarter and went on to close out the quarter on an 8-0 run to grab a 21-12 advantage.  The run carried on into the second quarter when graduate Mia Ehling (Linden, N.J./Holmdel (St. Francis)) knocked a three-pointer to open the scoring.  Her three gave the Tigers a 24-12 lead capping an 11-0 run.

* The Firebirds cut the lead down to five points late in the second after a Latavia Jackson jumper made the score 30-25 as UDC rallied with a 13-6 run. Holy Family followed by scoring seven of the final nine points of the half to take a 37-27 lead into the locker rooms at halftime.

* Holy Family held on to the lead the rest of the way despite UDC coming within three points of tying the game.  Hunter Rowson scored a basket that made the score 39-36 at the 5:49 mark.  The Tigers held off the rally with six straight points and regained their double-digit lead by quarters end, 54-42.

* The Tigers increased their lead to as many as 15 points after junior Megan Hughes (Point Pleasant Boro, N.J./Point Pleasant Boro) hit a jumper to make the score 59-44 at the 7:04 mark.  UDC cut the deficit down to seven points in the final two minutes (64-56), but the Tigers' accuracy at the free throw line in that span of 7-of-8 helped secure the victory. Holy Family finished the game 19-of-22 from the free throw line.
