Game Recap

* Trailing 1-0 after a first half goal by the Knights, the Tigers tied the game with the equalizing goal early in the second stanza.  Freshman Dakota Taylor (Willow Grove, Pa./Archbishop Wood) connected on the score in the 66th minute after sophomore Will Stackhouse (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) and freshman Sean Touey (Rockledge, Pa./Abington) set up Taylor on his fourth goal of the season.

* Taylor's shot was only one of three the Tigers got off in the second half.  Sophomore Mike Smith (Southampton, Pa./Archbishop Wood) came away with the other two, including an on-goal opportunity to take the lead but the Knights keeper, Marek Strzelczyk made the stop.

* Junior goalkeeper Ryan Stock (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) made his first collegiate start and kept the Tigers in the game after totaling nine saves in net after facing 33 total shots by the Knights.  Stock came up with three big saves in the overtime periods to preserve the tie. His nine saves in the game marked a career-high.

* Queens scored the game's first goal in the 37th minute of the foot of Milto Sionakides.

All-Time Series
Today marked just the fifth meeting between the Tigers and Knights as the two teams first met back in 2010.  The series remains deadlock at 2-2-1 after today's draw.
