Match Recap

* Pace forced a fifth and decisive set after finishing set four with a 25-19 victory.  The Setters carried the momentum over into the fifth scoring the first three points of the set.  Holy Family answered with three straight points to tie the set and then from there the set turned into a back-and-forth battle.  The Tigers were able to separate themselves from the Setters with a 4-1 run that broke a 9-9 tie.  Leading 13-10, the Tigers went on to alternate points with the Setters before senior Gianna Pesognelli (Phoenix, Ariz./Pinnacle) sealed the victory with a kill at 15-12.

* Holy Family recorded double-digit kills in the first four sets, including 14 in the first as the Tigers finished the match with 56 kills as a team.  It marks the eighth time this season that the Tigers have recorded 50-plus kills in a match.

* Holy Family won the first and third sets by the scores of 25-19 and 25-17 respectively.
