How It Happened

* Holy Family struck first midway through the first half when senior Alyssa Christiansen (Warminster, Pa./William Tennent) scored her second goal of the season in the 21st minute.  Fellow seniors Stefanie Ulmer (Philadelphia, Pa./Delaware Valley HS Center City) and Bree Rock (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) assisted on the play to set up the score.

* Later in the half the Tigers doubled their lead when Ulmer scored a goal of her own in the 33rd minute.  It marked her third score of the season.

* Holy Family capped the scoring in the 57th minute when freshman Kaitlyn Findlay (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) tallied her third goal of the season. Findlay collected a rebounded ball initially shot by sophomore Alexa Teschko (Clayton, N.J./Clayton).  The Dominican goalkeeper made the save on Teschko's shot but was unable to respond in time as Findlay found the back of the net.

News and Notes

* The Holy Family offense pressured the Dominican defense all day as the Tigers attempted 13 shots in each half to finish the game with 26.  The Chargers managed only two shots; both coming in the first half.

* Freshman goalkeeper Alayna McSeed (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) recorded her second shutout of the season in the victory.

* Rock led the team with four shots in the game as four others tallied three shots each.  Freshman Yasmine Machlof (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Lower Moreland) had all three of her shots on-target.
