Newtown, Pa. - The Holy Family University men's soccer team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest to Dominican College by the score of 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Walt Snyder Stadium on the campus of Council Rock High School North.

How It Happened
 
* Dominican scored two second half goals that turned out to be the difference in the game.  The Chargers jumped on the scoreboard early in the second half when Jose Mendez scored his first goal of the season.  Tajae Swaby sent a cross pass to Mendez for the score in the 48th minute.
 
* Five minutes later Swaby went on to score his first goal of the season when he corralled a rebounded shot by Ewan Gray.  Gray attempted two shots but Holy Family goalkeeper Mark Tobin (Philadelphia, Pa./Roman Catholic (La Salle Univ.)) saved both. However, Swaby managed to get a shot into the back of the net to double the score in the 53rd minute.
 
News and Notes
 
* Sophomore Davis Habilaj (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) and freshman Will Stackhouse (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) each led the Tigers with three shots apiece.
 
* Tobin recorded three saves in net for the Tigers.
 
* Dominican goalkeeper stopped four shots as he recorded the shutout victory.
 
All-Time Series
Today marked the 24th meeting between Holy Family and Dominican dating back to the 1998 season.  The Tigers are now 7-14-3 versus the Chargers in the all-time series.
 
Next Up
Holy Family is back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 3 as the Tigers travel to face Chestnut Hill College in a CACC contest.  Game time is set for 7 p.m.
