How It Happened

* Holy Family led from beginning to end without relinquishing the lead.  The Tigers opened the game scoring the first seven points and then extended the run to 13-3 within the first four minutes of action.  Holy Family led by as many as 14 points (46-32) at the 1:17 mark of the half and went on to take a 48-36 lead into the locker rooms at halftime.

* In the second half the Lions cut the lead down to as low as six points (59-53) midway through but a quick three-pointer by junior Mekhi Bryant (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsburg (Baltimore City C.C.)) halted GCU's rally.  In turn the Tigers flipped the script and used a 19-2 run over the next four-plus minutes to grab their biggest lead of the game.  Bryant converted a pair of free throws at the 5:58 mark to give the Tigers a 75-55 lead.
