Philadelphia, Pa. - The Holy Family University men's basketball team dropped a non-conference contest to visiting West Chester University by the score of 85-75 on Tuesday night inside the Campus Center Gymnasium.

How It Happened
 
* Holy Family led by as many as seven points early in the second half when junior Vincenzo Dalessandro (Levittown, Pa./Conwell Egan (Pace Univ.)) knocked down a three-pointer to give the Tigers a 46-39 lead.  The Golden Rams went on a 14-2 run to take a 53-48 advantage with 12:02 to play.
 
* The Tigers cut the lead down to 63-59 at the 7:55 mark, but West Chester followed with an 8-2 run to grab its first double-digit lead of the game.  Jackson Hyland converted a free throw after scoring a tip-in basket to make the score 71-61.
 
* The Golden Rams would go on to increase their lead to as many as 16 points (3:39) when Colin Daly knocked down a three-pointer with 3:39 to play. 
 
News and Notes
 
* Freshman Patrick Robinson scored a season-high 28 points to lead all scorers.  He knocked down 9-of-14 from the field and converted 8-of-9 from the free throw line.  Robinson also dished out six assists.
 
* Dalessandro recorded his second double-double of the season after scoring a season-high 17 points (7-14 FG) to go along with 10 boards.
 
* Freshman Kharon Randolph (Philadelphia, Pa./Haverford School) finished with a season-high 19 points and led the game with a season-high seven assists.  Randolph shot 7-of-11 from the field and was a near perfect 5-of-6 from deep range.
 
* Holy Family shot a season-high 42.9-percent (12-28) from three-point range.  The Tigers made a season-best 12 three-pointers.
 
* Hyland led the Golden Rams with 20 points (6-12 FG) to go along with six rebounds and four assists.  Frank Rokins recorded a double-double with 11 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.  Rokins also totaled a team-high seven assists.
 
* The Golden Rams held a 47-26 edge on the glass.  West Chester finished with 25 offensive rebounds resulting in 23 second-chance points.
 
Next Up
Holy Family returns to action on Saturday, Dec. 1 as the Tigers travel to face Lincoln University in a non-conference contest.  Game time is set for 4 p.m.
