How It Happened

* Georgian Court broke the scoreless tie in the 86th minute when Tommaso Rio scored his second goal of the game.

* The Lions' lead lasted less than a minute thanks to sophomore Prince Komoh (Monrovia, Liberia/Kensington Health Sciences Academy) who connected on his first career goal with the Tigers.  Freshman David Diaz Vasco (Roselle Park, N.J. (Pereira, Colombia)/Roselle Park) assisted on the play recording his first collegiate point.

* Both teams managed three shots each in the overtime periods but were unable to get any on-goal.  The Tigers came close though to ending the game in the 108th minute when a shot by freshman Will Stackhouse (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) hit off the crossbar.

News and Notes

* Junior goalkeeper Mark Tobin (Philadelphia, Pa./Roman Catholic (La Salle Univ.)) made a season-high eight saves in net for the Tigers after facing 21 shots by the Lions.

* Georgian Court outshot the Tigers, 21-12, and had a 9-3 advantage on corner kicks.

All-Time Series
Today marked the sixth meeting between Holy Family and Georgian Court since the 2013 season.  The Tigers are now 2-3-1 versus the Lions in the all-time series.

Postseason Picture
Holy Family concluded conference play with a 6-5-1 record.  The Tigers are currently tied for fifth in the standings with Caldwell, but own the tiebreak over the Cougars due to the team's regular season win. Pending the result of the Concordia College/Goldey-Beacom game will determine the Tigers final seeding.  With the Clippers win, Holy Family will fall to the sixth seed but a Lightning win will keep the Tigers as the fifth seed.
