How It Happened
Philadelphia turned a relatively close game into a lop-sided score by the time it was all said and down.  The Rams held only a four-goal (12-8) lead heading into halftime after senior Nicole Mansi (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Twp.) scored for the Tigers with only three seconds remaining until halftime.  It marked Mansi's fourth goal of the half as she tied her career-high in goals scored in a single game.

Philadelphia scored the first four goals of the second half to increase its lead to 16-8 by the 24:10 mark.  Less than a minute later, Holy Family responded with back-to-back goals by sophomore Dana Trevito (Voorhees, N.J./Eastern Regional) and freshman Casey Brown (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) to cut the lead down to six. The two Tigers' scores came within :30 seconds of one another. From there the Rams erupted for 10 unanswered goals over the final 22 minutes of the half to pull away as the defense held the Tigers without a goal during that span.
