Game One: West Chester 16, Holy Family 1
In the opener, West Chester exploded for 16 runs tying its season-high for most runs scored in a game.  The Golden Rams got on the board early after Sarah Walasavage hit a two-run home run in the first inning.  Holy Family got one of the runs back in the bottom of the inning when freshman Alina Ponce de Leon led the inning off with a solo home run to account for the Tigers' lone run.

West Chester would go on to score two runs in the second, five in the third, three in the fourth and four in the fifth.  Madison Kelly highlighted the afternoon going 2-for-3 at the plate with seven RBI, including a grand slam home run in the third inning.

Brooke Harner (6-2) picked up the win for the Golden Rams as she held the Tigers to one run on three hits in a five inning complete game.

Game Two: West Chester 1, Holy Family 0
The nightcap featured a pitching duel between junior Koreen Orozco (Whittier, Calif./St. Paul) and West Chester's Amanda Houck as neither pitcher yielded a run until the fifth inning.

West Chester's Alyssa Herion broke a 0-0 deadlock with a solo home run over the center field center in the top half of the fifth inning.  It would be Orozco's (11-7) only blemish on the day as she went the distance holding the Golden Rams to six hits while striking out three.

Houck (21-2) earned her 21st victory of the season as she struck out eight in seven innings of work.  She allowed six hits as well.

Orozco went 2-for-3 at the plate in the game, while junior Tori Hernandez (Benton, Ark./Bryant) was a perfect 3-for-3.

All-Time Series
Today marked the 21st and 22nd meetings all-time between Holy Family and West Chester since the start of the 2002 season.  The Golden Rams are now 15-7 versus the Tigers in the series after winning four straight.
