How It Happened
Holy Family never trailed in the game as the Tigers opened with a 4-0 run within the first six minutes of action.  Sophomores Vanessa Pagliei (Linwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) and Devon Felix (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Lower Moreland) scored the first two goals before fellow sophomore Dana Trevito (Voorhees, N.J./Eastern Regional) connected on back-to-back goals :30 seconds apart from one another.  Trevito's two scores gave the Tigers a 4-0 lead by the 24:09 mark.

Nyack finally got on the scoreboard with a goal by Victoria Silvers, the first of four on the afternoon for her.  Holy Family responded with five unanswered goals to grab a 9-1 advantage.  Senior Nicole Mansi (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Twp.) capped the run with her first goal of the day at the 15:27 mark.

The Tigers went on to score three more goals by the end of the half and led 12-3 entering halftime.

In the second half, Nyack cut the lead down to 14-7 with three straight goals.  However, the Holy Family offense countered with three consecutive scores midway through the half to reestablish a double-digit advantage since leading 14-4 earlier in the half.  The Warriors made it a single-digit deficit by the 11:31 mark with a score from Abby Wilmot but Holy Family quickly made it a 10-goal advantage when Bachmayer scored her final goal of the day less than a minute later.  Felix capped the scoring for the game with a goal at the 5:25 mark.
