How It Happened
Holy Family overcame a nine-point deficit in the second half that changed the course of the game.  The Tigers trailed 65-56 at the 11:57 mark, but after 12-3 surge over the next four minutes the home squad ended up tying the score at 68-68.  Hudson-Emory, who led all scorers with 35 points, capped the run with a jumper after freshman Jamai Womack (Chichester, Pa./Chichester) produced a steal on the other end of the floor to set up the play.

Both teams would go on to exchange leads down the stretch and the game featured four more ties before the three-minute mark.  The final tie came with 3:43 remaining on the clock when Womack scored to make the score 82-82.  One minute later the Tigers grabbed the lead thanks to freshman Sean Griffin (Abington, Pa./philmont Christian) grabbing a key offensive rebound and scoring in the process.

On the ensuing Devils' possession, Hudson-Emory forced a turnover, which resulted in a quick score for the Tigers to lead 86-82 with 2:14 to play.

USciences made the score 86-84 after Flo Da-Silva converted a pair of free throws with 1:34 on the clock but that would all the scoring the Devils would produce in the final two minutes.  Hudson-Emory split a pair of free throws with :22 seconds left and then went on to score a fast-break basket after another Womack steal with eight seconds showing on the clock to close out the game.
