How It Happened

*  Two big runs by the Wildcats in the first half doomed the Tigers, as Holy Family was never able to recover from the 21-point halftime deficit.  Wilmington led 12-8 at the 14:27 mark and used a 15-0 run over a three-minute span to grab a 19-point advantage (27-8).

* Later in the half the Tigers cut the lead down to 12 points after a three-pointer by freshman Terrell Jones (Ardmore, Pa./Lower Merion) to make the score 33-21 with 6:49 left until halftime.  However, the Wildcats went on another big run and closed out the half outscoring the Tigers, 19-10, to take a 52-31 lead at halftime.

* Wilmington knocked down 15 three-pointers in the game shooting 45-percent from deep range. The Wildcats also forced 18 turnovers that led to 19 points.
